Other companies that mass produce what we make in the US ask far more than we do- not quite double. And we don't mass produce. Bespoke means high quality and made to order

"Bespoke" goods are unaffordable for the common man and of no better quality than typical factory produce.

Comparing what we do with Temu's knock offs is like comparing off the rack clothing at WalMart to a hand tailored suit.

Agreed, one is an affordable and sensible option for the common man, the other is an extortionate and predatory offering that shouldn't even exist.

My husband was looking for a new hat the other day, and specifically wanted one made in the US by real people. The cost for that hat verses an imported one was double.

If it was only a difference in double the price then you clearly weren't bargain hunting well enough.

I'm happy to pay more for the US made hat that's created by a small business

Good for you spending more money than I can afford to to prop up a luxury business who's owner is wealthier than I will be in my life time, I'll stick to saving money rather than giving it to grifters who are likely doing the bare minimum legally required to be able to claim "made in America".
