And it's in the general area we're headed, lol. A nice mix of touristy entertaiment and nature to enjoy. Just booked a little cabin in the woods. It will almost be like home away from home - I'm from a pretty touristy area myself. :)

I hope I get to annoy my downvoter, lmao. Just kidding. We try not to be "those a$$holes" when we travel but as my husband says, it just happens - the moment you're a tourist, you just are. ;)

Lol. My husband and I just decided yesterday that we're going to TN next month. Then I see this. I take it as a sign we've made a good choice. :D

Depends on where you are, I guess. MIL worked for major hospital in my area. If she refused flu shot she had to wear a mask for flu season. No termination.

"I can't breathe." A not so subtle trigger for the emotions over logic crowd.

Indeed. It would be embarrassing to call someone out for inconsequential mistakes while making one or more yourself.

LMAO.

I thought about going to work at the Amazon warehouse near me. That changed pretty quickly because everyone I talked that worked there let me know just how bad it is to work for them. Maybe not all the warehouses are bad, but since it was company policies that made these workers lives hell, I suspect its not rare.

And yes people will continue to work in shitty conditions as long as they can bear it and then some if you're paying (up to) almost double what they could make elsewhere.

Yeah doors can be replaced quickly. The doors at my work were replaced within 6 hours after a group of mentally deficient robbers tried to break in. It only took as long as it did because we had to wait until shops opened. It could have been done in less than 2.

I have family there. Would be a hoot if any of you turned out to be one of them.

Any Overland Park pedes have family in PA? An older sibling perhaps?

The soot comes from the lighter fuel or matchstick. This non-melting snow thing has been popping up intermittently for years.

Sugartree is 100% right.

I shit you not, Dancing in the Street is playing on the radio right now. Just found that funny. I'm easily amused.

It looks like this designer just made these as part of a project. He mentions in the comments that he may design a two dollar bill in a new project after commenters mentioned it was missing.

"Behance is the world's largest creative network for showcasing and discovering creative work" Kind of like deviantart but for designers.

They do look pretty cool, though.

Interesting note: the views on the bills vs all his other design projects. HUGE.

Different angles change perspective. The people didn't disappear, they are obscured. And yes I've done photography for a couple decades. Professionally and as hobby. Sorry if it burst your bubble but truth is important.

Up vote to you too.

Truth doesn't change just because you don't like it, people!

Spend just a small amount of time working a camera and you know this. Truth gets downvotes. Upvoted you because you're right.
