Ohio Train Derailment ‘100 Percent Preventable’: NTSB
FTA: the crew was not alerted until the wheel bearing had reached the critical heat of 253 degrees above ambient temperature, the report said.
The report doesn't say what the crew did at that point, but apparently they didn't consider stopping the train. Sounds like negligence at best, though I read one article that said the crew reported the problem and were told to keep going, which implies criminal negligence.
Missouri AG Fires Dem Attorney Kim Gardner After She Refuses To Resign Over Public Safety Outcry
FTA: Gardner added: “It’s unfortunate that there are those who choose to twist the facts to take advantage of this situation for their own selfish motives. This is not the time for finger-pointing, it’s time to support this family, and ensure that justice is served.”
Translation: None of this is may fault (version of I dindu nuffin).
Good for MO's AG. Too bad Eric Schmidt (former AG, now Senator) didn't do this before the girl lost her legs...there certainly has been enough evidence that Gardner never met a law she couldn't ignore or bend to suit her purpose.
6 Beijing Biden Snaps at Reporter Asking if Communist China Deals ‘Compromised by Family’s Business Relations?’
Biden always says 'give me a break' or 'come on, man' when someone's question or comment cuts to close to the bone.
Anytime one feels compelled to dump on someone else in retribution for perceived harm by that someone else, one has already lost the battle, which likely had something to do with Owens finding herself in the media outback. She also appears to be two-faced, and that's another strike.
