Houston area here and we were also without for roughly 23 hours. Not once did we freak out, as we had ample supplies prepared well in advance. Our pets and our children were well taken care of because we knew that is was going to get bad. I wish common sense was taught now like our parents taught us. Now, we are trying to help those around us that were not as fortunate as us. And maybe help guide them with common sense for future disasters. Glad yall made it out okay.

I do not agree on your opinion of our parenting, but it is your right to speak it.
Regardless, we are all in this fight to protect the innocent and spread awareness of the atrocities that these kids go through. I don't know about you, but I am ready to see every last one of these sickos exposed and dealt with swiftly and promptly.

As someone who is a woman, married to a woman and has adopted children, please do not put all of us in the same category. We foster and adopt because it is needed and because we will always be protectors of the innocent.
Considering 2 of our kids come from a family that had a pedophile as the parent, over my dead body will MY children ever have to live that experience. We will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, protected and they will never be subjected to the horrors that were planned for their future. The buck stops here!

As a musician, I hate to think of when I was young and dumb & idolized this piece of trash
I got called an @sshole at the convenience store by my house. Only because I didnt have a mask on...
And then the next day I was in Walmart (yeah, I know I shouldn't go in there, but we needed diapers), and I turned on the aisle and this woman had her mask at her chin. She hurriedly pulled it up, and I covered my mouth with my jacket and said excuse me when I walked by her...not a minute later a manager and employee approached me and asked if I had a mask. I told them no, I cannot wear one. They said a lady made a complaint and said I should not be in there. I told them that I had used my manners AND covered my face when I passed her. They then again persisted that I put on the mask, and they could even provide one for me. I told them no again, and told them if I did not need to be in there then I absolutely wouldn't be. I also let the manager know that if he was so worried about it then he needed to back out of my 6 FEET of space. Needless to say, he left me alone.
But honestly, it should not come down to being harrassed in a store because someone else is worried about whether or not we comply!

Thank you for this. I'm trying so very hard to not be judgmental, and to just be kind to others around me. I have been awake for so long to the hypocrisy and evil in this world and I try to drop little pieces of information as often as I can, but it truly is so hard now.
I pray for those around me to wake up. I pray that God will guide me to be a light in the darkness
