If you want to change behavior, change the incentives. Make it harder for illegals to get welfare or take our jobs, and they'll self-deport.

AOC isn't a congresswoman. She's a social media influencer who happens to have a seat in Congress. Her politics are whatever score her the most social capital on Twitter right now. If that results in a politics that is inconsistent, hypocritical, or incoherent, that's a feature, not a bug.
