This is how is should go. Hold employers responsible for hiring illegals. Fine the companies if they are hire illegals! Right down to food workers! Deport every illegal in this country.
Perhaps this will help the widow of my husband's coworker who was crushed under (under!!) the truck in front of him last December. The father of 2 young boys was plowed into by a illegal, who not only was recklessly operating a semi-truck but who owned the trucking company.
He didn't even slow down!
His wife wanted to sue the trucking company but the sole owner was the very same illegal who killed her husband. He's long gone. WA state did not charge him and let him go. Let him go!!

Not once did I ever pull a carrier's DOT number. I was never trained, nor instructed to do so. Even if I'd wanted, I was never given the resources or told where to find the resources to do so

Carriers are liable, but play shell games with the corporations to avoid the liability, constantly closing their ops and opening "new" carriers with the same drivers. The brokers are less able to do so.
And perhaps we’ll see more self deportations from these foreigners who can’t find work.

If you want to change behavior, change the incentives. Make it harder for illegals to get welfare or take our jobs, and they'll self-deport.
