Ford in a large way helped make America Great before we were all born. Henry Ford would roll in his grave if they took government money, he had a great antipathy for government regulation.

The Ford family does not own the majority of the shares in Ford Motor Company but the shares they own are preferred and have more voting power than what is publicly traded so the family still has control of the company.
I think there are layers of security. They can use rooms or floors in the capital as cells. Thoes fences are for when you get board and want watch the prisoners try to make a run for it after a week of water bording and and when you wear out your pillow cases full of door knobs and you can’t find your torch and pliers.
