No.
Federal law trumps state and local laws.
And Trump can declare martial law which puts him and the military directly in charge of the area. Courts and everything are suspended. Even habeas corpus doesn't work.

Pretty sure the capital is under different jurisdiction then washington DC. That mayors jurisdiction is mainland dc, it doesn't go past the bridges.
That's why the city looks like shit and is super dirty but u go over the bridge and it's immaculate.

I don't agree with this at all. There is so much history in DC that it must be preserved, and remain the capital. Cleaning it out and restoring it will send an incredibly powerful message to the world.
I had my Confirmation at the National Cathedral back in the 60s. Because of that setting, it was one of the most awe-inspiring experiences of my life.

Yeah, I like the idea of no longer trying to drain it but to flood it, power flush it... twice. Dam up the Potomac? whatever it takes. Then keep barbed wire fencing in place as if its a zoo exhibit.. .a spectacle to the world of what once was. Epicenter of tyranny oppression and occult black arts.
No way. Dc has historic meaning and if we were to move it it should be for safety security reasons (middle of the country instead of the coast). Putting it on a peninsula would be even more of a safety security risk.
Would love to see all of DC turned into a memorial and our new (smaller) federal government moved to the center of the country.

How I might imagine it:
They bring in the prisoners and hold them in confinement near the courthouse.
One by one they are taken into a secret room, where they are put on trial. Or we can have several courts martial running at once.
The trial works pretty much like this:
Judge: "You are being charged with X, Y, and Z. The punishment is summary execution. How do you plead?"
Accused: (pleads)
Prosecutor: Lays out the facts of the case, including all top secret information on that individual. It's condensed form so it only takes 10 minutes to read it out.
Defending lawyer: Tries to find any weaknesses, but fails.
Jury: GUILTY!
Judge: Punishment is death, to be carried out immediately. Next!
The individual gets dragged out into public view, tired to a post, blindfolded.
Someone: so-and-so was found guilty of X, Y and and ordered summarily executed by judge so-and-so. Ready! Aim! Fire!
They drag his corpse and put it neatly in a row.
This goes on for months.
There are likely millions of traitors in the US alone.
It's not going to be like the French Revolution and Trump is not Robespierre.

You setup a large cage in the woods with one large open end. Then you place slop in the middle. Each day you bring the wall in closer and closer as you feed them more slop at the same time each day. The pigs will bring in more pigs. Until all the pigs in the woods are in the pen waiting for thier daily ration of slop.
The pigs grow use it and don't notice the only way out is getting smaller and smaller, until there's only a single path out. Then you give them one last helpings of your best slop and slam the gate close. They'll scream and yell like nothing you heard before, but all you gotta do is shoot them one by one. It's great fun with an AR10 308.
