This. The front of the boat is driven into the shore like it was traveling forward at a decent pace when it hit. If the wind blew it sideways wouldn't it have stopped when it first met the resistance of the shore line? The hull (terminology?) is burrowed into the beach from the pics I saw.
Don't try to prove you're point. Just ask questions that make them reevaluate theirs. You will never change their mind, they have to change it themselves and the only way to do that is by breaking the cognitive dissonance thru self exploration.
I could see this as being the case, but if it was having mechanical issues wouldn't they have tugs guiding it through? Maybe it malfunctioned in the canal I dunno, but that would be a mechanical failure issue, not a "wind" issue.
Look into the Van Allen radiation belt, there is also a video of someone from NASA saying we don't know how to go through it.
Then think about Elon's self landing reusable rockets. Think about all the technology and the processing power of all the computers used on board to control the rockets. Remember a 1st generation iPhone was thousands(or more) times faster than computers from the 70s. Then think about how many times spacex failed, but, miraculously, they did it perfectly on the first try with drastically inferior equipment on the moon.
Why didn't Elon just reverse engineer the technology from the 70s?
Yep, saw the same videos. Plausible explanation to me is they were both at a protest and thought they were on the same side. Maybe even made friends during the protest. Then it was like pizza dude saw window smasher smash and he was like "whoa I'm not down with that".
Innit!
