If I remember correctly that book is about a guy trying to save a five year old girl who was kidnapped and taken into tunnels under the city. He goes down there and finds tons of kids and a whole operation i think.

Something will happen after ten days. Probably the US will become a "dark" place for folks who have gone against the Constitution. I don't think there will be ten days of Trump doing nothing. I just feel Q is saying this country has darkness being transmitted by the MSM to get the general population riled up against Trump. It won't last for ten days. It might just be a day or two before Trump begins to implement Q's plan.
Just a thought, but with the media and lack of signal from POTUS, I think the dooming can be considered "darkness". The overall moral is depressing (dark), unless you have deep faith that POTUS succeeds; fortunately we do here.
