Can newbies make posts if they find something in the drops and they're looking for help understanding? I say yes. What say you oh powerful holder of the banhammer? This post isn't intended to dissuade those types of posts right? Maybe add an asterisk or something?

This site requires a high level of intellectual honesty. Not only with posts, but also with questions! Yes, there are such things as BAD questions! Not all questions are created equal.
So, do the research. Dig in to something. And then ask an engaging question.
A request... is it possible to create a stickied thread for newcomers to introduce themselves if they so desire?? The board is getting filled with "whew, I'm so glad I found you guys..." And while it's nice to have the fresh blood, but these posts that are all the same, are littering up the board. ThanQ!
