Go to https://flightaware.com/live/ right now, zoom in, and you can see numerous planes around DC. Right this second there's a helicopter flying right across DC in a northerly direction. Of course it's a DC police helicopter, but there are still regular airlines and small aircraft flying around DC.
If you read the comments, one posted an image that shows supposedly someone tested positive for covid so they are closing from 11:45-1:45 for cleaning.
I know it's hard to direct the intent of a response. I understood is was not your comment, but one you saw. I'm sure it was the official word released too. It's funny how naïve they think we are. We get that it's a cover story for what really is going on.
Had a pilot friend talk about this happening in an ATC tower a week or 2 ago, so they basically had nobody up there in it for awhile at one point. I believe a covid test is most likely.
So covid is used to do devious shit like shut down a place so other shit could happen without thousand of eyes on the thing being done. 2 hours closed for whatever reason creates an operational window. Is there something going on. Don't know. But it's a great critical node to exploit. Counter intelligence would watch and see what happens if anything viewable to understand it and the perhaps be directed to the greater context it fits into. Right now it's nothing.

Washington Center Air Traffic Control (ARTCC) was shutdown due to what is called an ATC-0 event (unplanned closure) due to COVID. Flights can't go into or out of airspace when this happens. Doesn't seem like anything nefarious.
Except if you watch Monkey Werkx video showing two planes leaving and headed east over the Atlantic ocean during the shut down. ... thinks it may be POTUS

This particular flight path looks like ground mapping or LiDAR mapping. Most likely testing a sensor or testing an aircraft.
