He is an extra-dimensional being of unknown origin who possesses immeasurable power over time, space, the laws of physics, and reality itself, being capable of altering it to his whim. Despite his vast knowledge and experience spanning untold eons (and much to the exasperation of the object(s) of his obsession), he is not above practical jokes for his own personal amusement, for a Machiavellian and manipulative purpose, or to prove a point. He is said to be almost omnipotent and he is continually evasive regarding his true motivations.
Wasn't the admirals and top brass in Starfleet totally corrupt? LOL, there's one episode of TNG where they were infiltrated by aliens, Picard and Riker marched right in and vaporized them.
It was a distraction tactic to make the enemy not focus on the real reason for space force. It has both Star Wars and Star Trek reference. If you see the amount of time the main stream spent covering George Lucas and some star trek guy bashing Space Frce and wanting to sue it, its hilarious.
Thought it was an interesting synchronicity that I ended up watching the Breaking Bad episodes with the guy who played Q and the whole storyline of that season is about seemingly impossible coincidences coming together.
Being a Trek fan myself (well, the old timeline anyways), I was thinking about the same. I really love that logo.

I don't understand the downvote here?
I mean yeah that's Q.
Right!
That would explain the Star Trek connection to Q

Season 1, episode 25. Titled “Conspiracy”. The Admiralty was corrupted after parasitic aliens possessed their minds.
"Conspiracy" -- very fitting!
It's the one where the skin and flesh melt from the head.
I believe Trump is working with benevolent aliens in the space war with reptilians.

Starfleet logo was in use by the USAF prior to ST

Q, who?
I was doing some research on this the other night.
Set phasers to kill...
Didn’t they turn earth into a Communist Utopia in Star Trek?
