I was at the 2nd Bush Inauguration and saw a lot of crazy shit.
However, the point is there were THOUSANDS of NG troops, and police covering the area. They built a giant steel cage around the capitol, extending all the way to the White House broken out into 4 or 5 sections. Going from one section to another required going through multiple security checkpoints.
There were so many cops that they could stand shoulder to shoulder from the Capitol to the White House on both sides of Pennsylvania Avenue and they STILL had plenty of cops to beat down protestors.
The city of DC is always put under lockdown with tens of thousands of troops and cops with a giant cage going back to at least the 2nd Bush inauguration.
However, the giant cage WOULD be a good way to keep a bunch of pedophile scumbags from being able to escape Washington DC.
