do you have a link?
This is not unusual. There are always ships on the coast of Cali near cities.
I'm not saying it's related to any of this, but this one is a bit unusual, we don't usually have this many ships to the point of overflowing where they can stay.

Its fine, I was going to comment on the quality of the photo, then I was like wait: that looks like a cam shot and not a photo.
Its not unusual to see many ships, especially outside the port in Long Beach/LA. The screenshot didn't help, but the article does. Most of those cargo containers come from China, and they usually build up in December/January to get ahead of TET, where China pretty shuts down for two weeks. But if they are just SITTING there for days/weeks... that is the port is pretty good about good of clearing out those cargo containers promptly.
This is a good find. I'll put it in the smells off, but it not necessarily be related to the happenings.
Just seems a liiiiiitle close to shore. But I'm sure they're real
No they get that close.
There's always that many. I drive over the Vincent Thomas and whatever the new one's called (opened in October I think) when I'm working. That's just outside Long Beach and off Huntington Beach,. It's an anchorage. In April for a few months you could see 6 o7 cruise ships anchored there too - scamdemic. Usual stuff. Now if I see a bunch of botes coming over the horizon...
I heard the offloading was backed up due to CG inspections for Chineses weapons.
So what.. You post a bunch of ships off the coast which looks fairly routine and try to garner a reaction? Oh...a handshake account of course...
Its a cam capture, not a photo.
Don't look very big. Or maybe just the perception. Are the longshoreman on strike? Embargo? Is this normal during a presidential transition?
That's a few stacked up, to be sure. What area is this? Looks like SoCal.
Are those container ships or Naval vessels? Some look like Naval vessels to me.
maybe its the chinee
me Chinese, me sail boat, me no like 8kun or voat!
man, this made me laugh too hard.
Except for when the lefties use it to abridge more rights.
Also, we'd be forced to strike back.
