Horseshit.....this is up to the US Constitution.
Yep. That’s why it was critical to complete the steal for them in the Georgia run off.
They brazenly stole the GA run-off too.
Give Mad Max the job,
it would be comedy gold
That shit-show would play on BET network for years! Better than Sanford and Son re-runs.
"Stick her face in some dough and make gorilla cookies."
Fred G. Sanford
But it's not the president on trial, so it's not covered by the constitution.
Then there should be NO Impeachment if he is not the current prez.
Isn't that a bad precedent? If we can't punish an outgoing president cause there's not enough time 2 weeks before the end of their term?
It must be or else how are they impeaching a president? If he's no longer President how can he be impeached? Whichever way you go they are in trouble
This is a point of constitutional debate.
Lefties will say that a pizza delivery guy should still be punished for eating the pizzas even if his contract is up right after they find out. Especially if that punishment means he can't get another pizza delivery job.
That's where I fall short. There are so many nuances in the Constitution that I'm really in the dark.
You are correct and the Constitution makes no reference to either the Majority or Minority Leader. From the standpoint of the Constitution, they are no different than any other Senator.
Post particular Article/Section in the Constitution that spells it out. Then read the SCOTUS blog on the issue. Stop posting BS only because that is what WE want and expect. And its all really irrelevant. Again, per SCOTUS blog. Read it. And then find my posts from last night with links and explanations. All the info is there.
