I pray daily for God to save this country from the evil that has taken control of every single aspect of our lives. We are living through the beginning of a horrible nightmare. I have faith and I am also willing to fight against evil as long as I have breath left in me.
I'm an atheist. Just yesterday I was thinking about this stuff and I swear it was probibly the closest I've ever gotten to saying a prayer in my whole damn life. Not that it was directed at god but you know...
I agree with this. Say that prayer, don't worry about a "right" way of doing it. If it's a sincere attempt to reach out, God will answer you in some form. I believe it.
lol!! It will never sail until you take your last breath. Age has nothing to do with it. :) God will always be patiently waiting for you to come back to Him. He’ll be overjoyed whenever that is, even if it’s right before you pass. God is real, my fren. And He is already working for good in your life :))) He is on the move with you for sure! God bless you in your journey back to Him.
You clearly didn't read thoroughly. I can't go back to him. I've never ever believed to begin with. Sorry. I only mentioned my age because this issue is totally settled for me. I know my heart. I know my mind. I don't believe. Its just that simple.
Ok then as a non-christian/believer and impartial observer you are the perfect person to read these stories from people of all ages, races, countries, cultures, religions, (and atheists!)... they will blow your mind. Doesn’t matter what order you click on the archives links. What is Fascinating, is as you read more and more of them a larger picture emerges. Enjoy.
Sorry but I've already come near death several times. Never once did I see god or an angel or the holy spirit or Buddha or whatever. And I never called out to him or prayed. In fact god was the last thing on my mind. Nice try but I really don't believe, and I never will.
Legend says that Emperor Constantine accepted Christ on his Death bed. There have been other less famous and more recent people I know of who have done same. In life, it is never too late, should you ever choose to go that route.
Hehe. I've been near death or at least thought I might die at least 3-4 times. Never once did I think about god in those moments. Sorry. I really don't believe.
I came to Jesus at the age of 56, after 40 years of pristine atheism...when my wife walked out on me. It was the culmination of things that had been preying on my mind all during my wandering in the wilderness.
Or, you can reach the age of 50, discover you have a cancerous tumor and at the suggestion of having it excised, you say "Umm...I'm 50. That ship has sailed." That is called a Death Wish, my brother.
See that's what made me realize for sure I'm an atheist. I'd always avoided religion. Had a bad run-in with a woman that told me religion didn't matter and 6 months in its come to church with me. A lot more involved but years later when I really thought about it I realized that was a huge part of why our relationship exploded. I didn't believe. She was just angry at god. When she got over her anger it created a huge rift. She did what you are doing now. She tried to convince me to go to mass. The best one was the suggestion we should go to a catholic priest for marriage counseling. LOL!
Nothing you say is going to change who I am. Unless you have incontrovertible proof like you can introduce me to an angel so I can have a nice hour long chat with him there is no point in this.
If you have no interest in researching because the issue is closed for you that is obviously a personal decision. If you do have any interest, instead of looking for an angel to talk to, research DNA and God. You will find scientists, once atheist, have found it impossible to reconcile the DNA science with their (former) atheist beliefs.
Atheism is a belief in nothing. I encourage you to explore this from an intellectual standpoint. You literally have nothing to lose.
I guess the whole point is that I used to avoid it, but then I finally did do the research. Back like 10 years ago I spent months looking at every religion. That's when I realized my problem was I didn't believe any of it. It was actually very freeing to resolve that conflict. It was my come to Jesus moment so to speak. Unborn again? Heh.
To me religion is just mans never ending quest to answer questions beyond our ability and knowledge to answer yet. Those scientists are just desperate for answers completely out of their grasp. They are literally monkeys staring up into the sky and telling each other that space is made up of jello pudding because that's what it looks like to them and it tastes good. Or the moon i made out of cheese etc...
I simply acknowledge the undeniable truth. We don't know the answer. I moved on.
Sure you've looked at this then, but either Chesterton or Lewis would say the answer is the fact that the questions are built in to your being. If you have a God shaped hole there must be a God. I think the analogy was if you can experience thirst or hunger, there must be something out there to satisfy that built in need or desire, i.e., water/food. The fact that mankind has searched for an answer or a reason for his creation means there is in fact a reason and and answer. In my quest that was probably one of the more convincing.
I'm not one to try to convince anyone, honestly, just love a good back and forth about interesting subjects. Thanks and have a good day!
DNA evolved pretty directly from RNA. We know the oldest life forms on earth were RNA based just as we (and everything else on earth excluding some microorganisms and viruses) are DNA based.
Before the evolution of DNA there was an entire world of living things using RNA to carry their genetic sequence (instead of using it for the building the replication of that sequence the way we do). DNA came about the same way most forms of evolution do; random chance that was then positively selected for due to offering a survival advantage. The advantage of DNA over RNA is clear. It degrades less rapidly, it’s less prone to error, and most of all it allows for much longer and more sophisticated sequencing.
There are mysteries around DNA that science still hasn’t answered. But it’s very existence is evidence that evolution is real and has been since the beginning of life on earth.
Hi Darwyn. If you admit you don't know, that makes you an agnostic rather than an atheist. I was an agnostic. When I decided to pray to see if it would work, I basically prayed "if you're real, please send me a sign." I did not pray often, but the signs came. Over time the validity was proven in my direct experience without any church at all, and as my faith slowly grew it became stronger and more rewarding. Eventually I had a direct experience of the holy spirit, and after that time I know that God is real, and that He is love, and He is also beyond our ability to define. I received knowledge, obviating the need for faith. The knowledge and evidence are not materially demonstrable. But my words are a witness. Keep your mind and heart open, and if you search, you can find. It worked for me.
I had that same argument with myself. Am I agnostic or atheist. The problem is I utterly and completely reject all of the current answers proposed. More over I completely reject the idea that any of this is the creation of a higher being. Thus 90% of religions are fully rejected. Absent proof it will stay that way. Thus I'm an atheist, and I will stay that way until given absolute incontrovertible proof otherwise. Also... I'm not looking for proof. That would be like me spending/wasting my time trying to prove the Greek/Nordic gods were real. Its pointless wasted effort. Proof needs to slap me in my face. I've moved on. You're wasting your time.
I totally get that all Christians are programmed by their social virus to seek out and infect others. In order to thrive a successful virus has to work that way or it dies out, but I'm immune. Sorry.
EDIT - PS - I give you guys props for being more respectful and well intended than most. And even making a few good but flawed arguments.
It's just the definition: there's a difference between "not believing" vs "believing in naught." The first is agnostic, the second is atheist. I found God without a church or a book. That's just my testimony; you don't have to believe. Yes, I enjoy telling people. Doesn't mean I'm programmed any more than you.
This is our one and only shot. Instead of wasting it trying to indoctrinate someone into your religion, why don’t you help a neighbor or have nice long masturbation sesh.
Both of them are better options than trying to convince someone that your religion really is the one and only way (despite the hundreds of other religions preached with just as much surety), when they themselves have made efforts to reach out to your god and were met with only silence and the self awareness to know that if they claimed to believe they would be lying.
I’m only 27 and this ship has long since sailed for me as well. Age doesn’t have anything to do with it. I’ve known 5 year olds that realized people have never lived to be hundreds of years old and that a story about a great flood that only one single family survived (meaning incest was the only way forward for the species) probably wasn’t meant to be taken literally, the same way they realize Santa isn’t real.
"a book written by men two thousand years ago isn't evidence its just a book."
This is one of satans tricks, "there is no evidence." That is why the LORD wrote prophecy into His Word. The Old Testament scriptures are a history book that happened after it was written.
Ask yourself why the areas that were Sodom and Gomorrah in ancient times are still uninhabited to this day and are covered with balls of sulphur.
Look at the evidence of Noah's flood upon the very Earth you live in.
The most rock solid evidence you can have? Why do the evil ones fight so hard against it? What are they trying to hide from you? You have a choice to make, brother, every one does. You can continue to fight right along with evil or you can shine your light unto the world. There is no in between.
Kek. You're funny. Communist are not atheists. They worship "the state". They are the worst sort of religious fanatics. Communism really is a religious cult. Prove me wrong.
Read more carefully. Read the whole thing. Don't skim it.
It's very hard to see some of the Pizzagate stuff and argue there is a God anymore. If there was, he's clearly gone away to create other worlds and left us to our business. That is how evil people have taken over the world.
It is very hard for someone my age to watch young people playing with fascism, failing, playing with socialism, failing, and NOW playing with communism... and we all know they're going to fail.
Does the USA have to actually rediscover democracy through trial and error?
The evil ones have been sacrificing children to baal since the very beginning and they continue doing it today. And, I can promise you, He is SEETHING about it as we speak. Again, this has all been prophesied and you are going to just LOVE the end of this "movie." Read Ezekial 38-39 for a sneak preview.
One of the oldest questions humankind has been asking is, “How can I know God?” The question is a valid one. What is He like? What can we do to please Him? How can we get to Heaven? If we work hard enough to be a good enough person will He accept us then? If we do enough religious activities to get His attention, will that do it?
Fortunately for us, the answer is surprisingly simple. The “Gospel” that the Bible talks about literally means, “the Good News,” and the news is good indeed!
First, we have to start at the beginning. In Genesis 1:26, when God created the first humans, He said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness”, then God blessed them and spent the days walking and talking with the people He had created. In short, life was good.
But why isn’t life like that anymore? What happened to mess everything up? This brings us to the second point: when we (humankind) chose to do the opposite of what God told us, sin poisoned the world. Sin separated us from God, and everything changed. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” and in Isaiah 59:2 we’re told, “your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear.”
This is especially bad news because there is no way for us to get across that gap on our own. We (humankind) have tried to find our way back to God and a perfect world on our own ever since then, and without any luck. We try to get there by being good people, or through religion, money, morality, philosophy, education, or any number of other ways, but eventually we find out that none of it works. “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death” (Proverbs 14:12).
There is only one way to find peace with God, and the Bible says it is through Jesus Christ. We were stranded without any way of getting back to our Creator, and we needed a way to pay for our sins and be clean again so that we could be welcomed back to be with Him. Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
So this is the Good News—that even though we were still enemies of God (as one translation says), Jesus came to die on the cross and pay the price for our sins so that we could have a relationship with Him again. John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
What then should be our reaction to this awesome news? This brings us to the last and most important part. John 5:24 says, "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” Jesus Christ himself even says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10), and Romans 5:1 says, “we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
So how can I have peace with God, life to the full, and be confident of eternal life like these verses say? First, through an honest prayer to God, I have to admit that I’m not perfect—that I can’t escape my sins, and I can’t save myself. I follow this admission by believing that Jesus Christ died for me on the cross and rose from the grave, conquering death and sin. Then I invite Jesus Christ to live in me and be the Lord of my life, accepting His free gift of eternal life with Him.
The prayer can go something like this:
“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite you to come into my heart and my life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Through faith in You I now have eternal life. In Your holy name I pray Lord Jesus. Amen."
There is nothing magical about these words. It’s not the words themselves that make things right between you and God—it’s whether or not your heart really means it. We know this because in 1 Samuel 16:7, the Bible says, “The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
The best part of this whole process is that it doesn’t matter how badly we’ve messed up, Jesus is powerful enough to save anyone from their sins—even the worst of us. Romans 10:13 says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." That’s fantastic news—no matter how badly we’ve messed up, we can place our complete trust in Jesus, and He will wipe all of our sins off the face of the earth. Jesus is the bridge to life.
Remembering this day that the battle we face may be more about what is unseen than what we see before us. And when we resist the enemy, God's word tells us he has to flee. James 4:7
Don't forget, Save the World. We are center stage with the lights focused on us. Now is the time for our scene to play out, will we continue to let them change the script of our destiny on the fly, or will we resist and move on with the show as it was written by the one true author.
Just from what I've seen I think Trump handed the country to the military right before he left the White House to board M1 for his flight out of Andrews AFB to West Palm. We can predict and speculate when the shoe will drop but in reality we have no idea when it will happen. I do believe that something is in motion but just hanging on for the ride at this point.
I'm with the prayers. I also think we should find means to plead to the military.
If they are waiting for "favorable conditions" isn't this mil-speak for procrastination? I don't recall that conditions were favorable for the landing at Inchon. Sometimes things must be done because they cannot be delayed. And justice delayed is justice denied. I have a hard time thinking the military would hold back from doing their duty under their oath to protect the constitution, simply because they were waiting for it to be popular.
I absolutely do not believe there is any prospect of civil war. For that to happen, there must be a rebel government to provide the morale, leadership, and organization. None of that is present. There could easily be depredations of the Biden regime against conservatives, gun owners, and Trump supporters. And there could be skirmishes of resistance, but this would not be a civil war...it would simply be a bloody mess.
What the military needs to put into consideration is that the more they delay, the more that such chaos is likely to commence. There will NEVER be perfect acceptance of what they must do. But their oath is not conditioned on "only if everyone is good with it." At some point, they must have faith in God that He will direct the hearts of the public to understand and accept. Or will they let equivocal polls excuse their failure to do their duty?
The more I think about this, the more agitated I become. This is a duty sworn before God to defend the Country and its Governing Spirit. Time is of the essence. The people are in jeopardy. The people are in fear. Truth is waiting to be told. And they are paralyzed...by doubt?
FIRST, let us pray FOR our Military. I have this sense that we are letting them down in our prayer coverage for them. Our Military are AMAZING, AND, they're human. They have a RIGHT to our FIERCE prayer support. It is the very LEAST we can do.
I've wondered the same too, but I think the answer is no: God never tires of hearing our prayers. If you read Revelation, they are like incense to him: a sweet-smelling offering. What's more, Jesus prays for us, constantly. Thank you for your prayers and keep it up!
X22 yesterday talked about a whole new economic system being in the backburner as a return to hard backed currency but where is he getting that from? I know every dollar we currently have is debt to the global banking system. Petro dollar being a parallel currency.
But I'd like more tangible stuff with sources than just x22.
Our currency is not tangible, and our new system will not be tangible either, until it is. IMO he means that the fittest priority is to free our minds and right our politics, and fixing the economy will come afterwards.
I pray daily for God to save this country from the evil that has taken control of every single aspect of our lives. We are living through the beginning of a horrible nightmare. I have faith and I am also willing to fight against evil as long as I have breath left in me.
Amen
AMEN

The Bridge to Life
One of the oldest questions humankind has been asking is, “How can I know God?” The question is a valid one.
James 4:7
Sounds like you don't trust Q.
Start pulling investments out of NWO controlled companies. They are on the run.
Don't forget, Save the World. We are center stage with the lights focused on us. Now is the time for our scene to play out, will we continue to let them change the script of our destiny on the fly, or will we resist and move on with the show as it was written by the one true author.
Let us pray and then you start dropping profanity! Kek
MAKE AMERICA FREE AGAIN
AMEN!!
I’m just praying I don’t get sent to the gulags for not wearing five masks
Amen
AMEN.. ?
