In the video with Biden... the soldier's pants had TWO thinner lines. Why is it a different uniform?
Also, notice that (I realize covid, but it's still a bit much) NONE of the soldier's faces in the Biden video are clearly recognizable. You can't really tell their identity. Caps are pulled down, oversized covid masks... so you really can't identify the soldiers. They could simply be actors for all we know.
Anyway, does someone know if there has been a change to the uniform? It would be weird if the military pants were the same for 40 years... and then just recently changed before Biden was inaugurated.
Great observation. The guards who guard the tomb undergo some of the most intensive training. I remember reading about it a few years ago. So for the stripe to be different I think is pretty significant. There’s some good info on who is chosen and the requirements, history, etc.
