I've been buying silver the past few months so not an expert but I'll chime in. If you're strictly in it for accumulating silver vs. collecting different coins or pieces, in my opinion, you'll want to buy generic rounds or bars. The coins have a higher premium. Look at the Spot price and try to get the most physical silver for the lowest overall price. I usually buy 1 oz. silver rounds, but often larger rounds and bars will be cheaper per oz. Some of the the best deals I've found are at SD Bullion and Money Metals.com. Look at their deals too. They will lower the price on overstocked items sometimes. If you pay with a check or e-check, it's cheaper than using a credit card or Paypal. Also, try to meet the minimum purchase to take advantage of free shipping. I found a lot of info on investing in silver at reddit on R/Silverbugs. Have fun!
It's just purely the metal, not bothered about collectables because when the shiz hits the fan 1oz will be worth 1oz regardless of fancy design. Would rather get .999 or .9999 tho. Prices are already up on ebay etc.
Yes, the price is up the past few days! I want to buy more but hope it comes down for that reason! haha. The price will fluctuate minute by minute so watch that when you're shopping. Jump in! It's fun to start collecting it. Here's another good site to find resources. https://findbullionprices.com/closest-to-spot/
Roughly what should I be looking to pay for an oz. I've not been following prices long so I don't have a grasp on when a sellers trying to scalp me. Thanks in advance I really appreciate your knowledge.
I bought 20 1 oz (Trump) rounds from SD Bullion on 12/29/20. I paid $29.35 oz.
I bought another asst. order of rounds from SD Bullion on 1/25/21, I paid $28.87 oz.
I found a listing of 11- 1 oz. rounds on Ebay a few days ago and paid $29.24 oz.
So, that's what I've found lately. I've heard it's good to try not to pay more than 10% over Spot. There will always be a premium over spot for the cost of minting. Good luck!

There are so many ways to get resources besides breaking your pocket book today for gold and silver that you cannot ultimately eat or drink or build a roof over your head.
Can you imagine the world around you if the USD becomes worthless? The only metal worth having at that moment is lead (w/copper jackets). I will trade my lead for all your metals on that day.
Trump already put the new finance system in place running along side the fiat system, the new one is gold back quantum financial system.

Simply check the movements in the EUR/USD and the AU/ AG markets.
Check from which date they seem to correlate.
if the currency fails
then you are too late

Thanks for info, appreciated.
If you go to a coin store, look for Mercury dimes... they’re 90% silver and probably the most cost effective way to purchase silver

Can you expand on that? Why would those shops have silver?
People donate things without realizing what they are.

They'd deserve it for voting Biden
