Only takes an hour or two hands-on, really. It can be done after hours, in between other tasks. You wouldn't believe how much time is wasted in school.
Honestly yes, they are horrifically easy compared to my youth. It's the methods they teach today that breeds idiocy en masse to make people easier to control.
A”full school day” is a joke. Homeschooled my two kids. Spent no more than a tenth of “teaching time” that the public schools do, yet my kids run circles around the typical public school student. You have no idea of how much of a school day is worthless bullshit.
Needing a full day is because in the school system teachers have classes of 30+ to teach. With homeschooling it's just you and the kid, you can focus and get more done in less time.
If the kid can do "Online School", he can be homeschooled.
If both parents have to work, when will they have time to spend a full school day teaching?

And sign up your wife as a student too. Sounds like she needs reeducated, no offense.
And believe it or not, the parents will learn too. Some thing we forget cause we stop using the knowledge. ?
That’s true.

Honestly, probably cheaper than private school.
Teachers do not spend a full school day teaching.
Yeah not even close. Even at HS levels, theres a bout 10 minutes of actual learning per class.
Schools arent there to educate, but to get kids ready for a 40 hour work week while allowing their parents to work. Publicly funded day care.
Most of it is Indoctrinating.

In 3rd grade, how hard is it? Not that hard and wouldn't take that long but would be well worth it.
