This is part of the show. Impeachment will be turned onto them. Think Obama, Biden, Hillary and other stooges. If Trump is subjected to it, so will they be. It's great.
Yep exactly that's what one of the lawyers warned them about 'it will set a precedent and interpretation that will allow any ex public official to be impeached, including all the former Presidents' or something like this
I disagree on that point. Trump was haphazardly impeached in a hurried last ditch effort while he was still in office.
This was to justify a trial on an already impeached sitting president (at the time) who left.
Obama was not impeached, Joe could get impeached and tried by the senate since he's still well within his first "term."
This could be a win in many ways, but I wouldn't think it opens the door for Obama.
Besides, with evidence, you can have Obama face trial in an actual court/tribunal not a senate trial that would only strip him of being able to run again which he can't anyway (though constitution seems to only be a suggestion, not a mandate).
So what if we impeach them?
The only punishment they’ll get is being barred from ever holding office again.
That’s the only punishment the Senate can issue if they’re not currently holding office.
No, I don’t think a senate impeachment is the way forward with all the traitors, military tribunals are.

I literally said all that in the comment you replied to.
