To be fair, I think Bannon is just helping to strengthen some of Mike's points by asking more pointed questions. If there are any normies watching this, and I really hope there are, I imagine those are the questions they're asking themselves.
I'm ashamed to admit I still haven't seen the whole documentary yet. But I chalk that up following this closely since November 3rd and seeing this entire clown show unfold in real time.
Steve and Mike wanted to do this, because all of the fake news journalists accusing Mike of putting out conspiracy theories did not want to debate him on this. So Steve agreed to play Devil's Advocate.
Bannon had been laid off of Trump' team, and was probably unlikely to decline an invitation with someone wealthy who could bankroll his movement to promote economic nationalism.
Also, Bannon got sanctioned by the CCP along with Trump, Navarro, and a few others. (That's a badge of honor)

Those who think Bannon is dirty or is out of the Trump sphere because he was fired, does it make any sense that he would have Rudy on his show repeatedly if he was outside the Trump circle? Rudy is Trump's personal attorney - he would not keep coming on Bannon's show if he was not 'on the team'.
