Nope, that kind of dumbfuckery doesn't happen down here. We parents monitor what is happening in all grades very closely and the power positions in the district are elected positions. This shit comes home with one of my kids and people are losing jobs. Just sayin.
Not at my son's school - we put him in private school so he could actually go to school. What a refreshing thing it is to have conservatives educating your child! It's great, a school full of Trump supporters! :)
Yes but I’m hearing from parents at private schools this leftist propaganda is being pushed too, so keep talking to your kids. One of the private schools here has Chinese kids come as international students. The school gets more money from these international parents.

I have taken many steps to ensure I know what is being taught to my son (first of which being actively helping him with homework), as well as explaining patriotism to him and teaching him to be on the lookout for anyone trying to teach him 1. that he's somehow bad because he's white, 2. that America is anything less than the best country in the world, and 3. what socialism/communism looks like and to watch for it. He knows to come to us with any indication of those things. Some may think kids are too young to deal with this, but I feel like easing him into it at 10 yrs old is the best way to make sure he continually stays aware throughout his life. They're more resilient than we think, and it seems this pandemic is a good indicator of that. They just need their parents' guidance.
Remember, anger begets anger. Two responses include 1 "none of the above" and 2 "other: Martin Luther King, Jr, do not judge [or assume] by the color of skin".
I'm with ya. I'd probably do worse than that honestly. I'd yank my kids out of that school and make it my mission in life to have everybody's job that thought this shit was a good idea.
