Look, sounds stupid initially, but you can't honestly say that a human is this precise in predicting what is going to happen. You'd have to be a psychic or a precog to know exactly how plans play out. So my working theory is that Q, while military, is not a person, but a quantum computer. Call me crazy or a larp, but the logic just makes sense to be that this is how things play out.

Project looking glass, quantum computer calculating the outcome data, Q being the team behind the whole operation. I could be way off base but after researching it does seem very possible. I don't think anyone other than Q team really know the entire scope of operation.
A computer by definition just runs programs.
If you are talking about Artificial Intelligence, that can be software. Software by definition is algorithms and it doesn't matter what hardware it runs on beyond speed and storage requirements.
If it is Artificial Intelligence hardware, such as your brain, then it is isn't a computer. It is something else.
If there were a computing system or an AI system that could predict events that take place years in the future, it would be way beyond anything we have.

Intuition is definitely a part, and I'm speaking as someone whose gut instinct is driving the show for me now, but you can't honestly tell me that someone has intuition that far in advance. That is not intution, that is precognition, like that Futurama episode with the half human robot.

This keeps getting pushed by people with no evidence. I fail to see the connection. Why would a quantum computer matter? Is it just the Q? What makes everyone pushing this say quantum computer? Do you even know what the difference between a quantum computer and a regular computer would be or why it would be advantageous to this situation over the regular kind? Nothing that's been "predicted" requires any kind of new technology.
