But they can't ask you to leave since you do indeed have a "face covering" that is considered to be an alternative for those who have conditions that preclude the wearing of a face mask.

I work in MA and the rules here are that your employer (a community college) can make you prove you have a medical condition so you can’t just say ADA protected here. BUT there is the Genetic Information Anti-Discrimination Act (GINA) which you don’t need to disclose that private information.

We will give you a new gaiter to wear if you lack a mask, or we will happily take your order electronically and you can will call it or call us from the parking lot and we'll bring it out to you in good weather.
