But why did coal power generation go down when the rolling blackouts began? It doesn't make sense... unless the coal plants were cut off from the grid on purpose.
"Green Energy" was a huge factor in the failures in Texas. The state was capable, but limited. It's a no win. The only green energy you can rely on is that which is powered by the tides, IMO. Wind, solar, waves, all not reliable. Tides will shift, guaranteed by the moon.
They get a ton of govt subsidies. Otherwise would be much more expensive than the coal/nat gas plants. Have been putting those in moth balls for the last decade or so - can't afford to maintain them while competing with the wind/solar output.
And don't get me started on the batteries and how "good they are for the environment" crap. I wish people would research how long a battery or solar panel last and what happens to them at the end of their life. Absolutely ignorant and/or uninformed to claim they are better for our environment
I like wind energy... except that the turbines tend to kill off nearly all birds of prey in the counties where those turbines are located. That will eventually cause a huge explosion in the rat ? and field mice population... and will cause massive crop losses in those areas.
Ironically, nuclear is the most efficient and environmentally friendly green energy, yet the leftists who claim to support the environment hate it.
Shows how much of a sham it is.
That's the best bang for you buck.
(Assuming we don't get too much bang.)
It didn't fail or collapse. It was ordered to shut down by Xiden's ECOT.
There are literally pictures and videos of airplanes having to spray wind turbines because they were frozen and would not move to provide energy.

Green new deal and PCA is nothing but a Ponzi scheme for the elites like Kerry's, Clinton's etc

Yeah don’t listen to your bartender on advise about global warming.
T Boone Pickens, oil tycoon, bought a wind farm in either Texas or Oklahoma.
These guys do it for the tax benefits. They push for "clean environment" because it puts money in their pocket.
The idea of a wind and solar economy is for the really, really stupid, uninformed, or corrupted by money/politics.
