I'm an exec in an energy services company. In a discussion among our leadership the other day, our ERCOT expert filled us in on a number of things that came out of last week...the following are related to water safety:
Most of Central and South Texas have open water treatment plants with a lot of exposed equipment. Within normal temps, this is not an issue, but now everything is frozen/broken.
There are 153 water district with limited or no water pressure - this is over 50% of the state
Many water treatment plants in the state were inexplicably not specified to be on "critical circuits" and they were included in the rolling blackouts
This is pure incompetence on numerous levels. There is a near-zero chance that NERC and/or FERC do not step in here.
What people don't realize is that it could take 2-3 months to make water safe if there is a brain-eating amoeba, like the one that killed the 6-year old kid!
FYI, you don’t swallow the amoeba to be infected. It goes into your brain when contaminated water gets sucked up your nose, like in a shower or washing your face I guess. Sound crazy but it’s true.
Why has this effected the water? Did lack of power shut down the treatment plants but not the distribution pumps? The water cant get to customers without power to pump it from the treatment plants to the water towers. Did they pump untreated water for distribution? This makes no sense.
Or has the water supply been deliberately contaminated?
No, low pressure in the mains is very problematic. Normally the pressure is high enough nothing can get in. When the pressure is too low stuff can mix in. The water mains are not hermetically sealed after all.
Low pressure is caused either by a lack of pumping ability or too much water flowing out. As several places have frozen, likely the latter.
None of this is a surprise to people who know these things.
I heard they were supposed to be boiling the water they ingest. Looks like they'd better do that. "They" probably put the parasite in there to make Texans sick. I would not put anything beyond them. They are evil!
This needs to be pinned! I pray anybody who lives in Texas on GAW reads this before it is too late. Please call and let the elderly know as well.
Another possible watch the water?
Oh my hell...
Another attack to weaken one of the strongest States in the United Republic.
The DS cabal and lame stream media narratives are playing the blame game ie
It's the REPUBLICANS running the Texas Government and Legislators who failed to prep the people of Texas with the crazy arse shite storm
Wait for the Demon Crats to cry out in 3 2 1
That a full complete recall of any and all Republicans in Texas.

It may be intentional.
Intentional in terms of sabotaging the grid? No. Perhaps intentional in terms of placating the Greens, which in turn has grid-sabotaging outcomes.
These people are stupid, not evil.

So....yall know this means those parasites have always been in the water, right?
The only difference is now since water levels are low the concentration of them is higher...they aren't spontaneously manifesting in the water lines.
We've always been their guinea pigs.
Thanks, pede. I forwarded this link to family in Texas.

What the fuck!!!
