Saturday night I was dropping off and started to watch a very recent vid of Rudy chatting with a Conservative blogger. Rudy clearly had a “black soot mark” in the middle of his forehead( not like the hair dye ones from November which were wet, this one was dry).
Rudy always presents very sharp and smart. Anyway I moved on and put it to the back of my mind.
Last night , I was scrolling through some stuff on Telegram and an image came up of Chris Cuomo with an identical mark!
Am I going mad?
I’ve searched but can’t find them .when you look for Rudy all you get is black hair dye images.
It's probably from Ash Wednesday. Some people have been getting the ash on the back of their head this year instead of on their forehead. It can stay there for a few days I think (I'm not Catholic, but this is what I've observed).

So I’ve discovered that Cuomo is a seriously religious Roman Catholic and it’s used on Ash Wednesday to signify repentance or fasting. Must be a NY thing, not done in the UK.
I wonder whether his visible repentance is significant?

From what I heard Rudy took a deal and a part of it was actively and publicly working with the good guys to preserve his legacy, chances are he will be among the people that will be gone within the next year or two...
