And what happens if they have this convention and a number of states refuse to abide by the 2/3 majority, or whatever it would require for approval? Oh wait, SCOTUS ruled in the TX vs PA and the other states that TX had no standing. So the last court for redress between the states said they don't give a fuck, and violence is the only way to settle disputes between the states now. OK.
exactly. dangerous and unnecessary. the Constitution isn't broken. the people who swore an oath to uphold it are. Convention of States won't remove corruption.
All of the above are post-constitution laws, institutions, and self-made problems. Abuse of power and corruption endures as long as those at the top benefit more from crime than upholding justice.
A convention of states does not give the people keys to ‘abolish that corrupt government’ but hands the nuke football to the very party establishment criminals already drunk on too much unchecked power.
The Framers of the Constirurion were better read, more educated, and most importantly had just gone through a conflict they were supposed ro lose. They had a better understanding of human nature than any alive now have. Others have said our 'Constirution was Divinely inspired. The inspiration to abolish it now comes from where? I know it's not for our benefit. These people just keep pushing and pushing...
No more 1st amendment, no more 2nd amendment. What additional amendments can they come up with?? This is scary stuff to me and I don't understand why few are alarmed. Please explain.
I immediately left Parler when I learned that Merk Meckler was now CEO. People need to dig on how the Tea Party Patriot organization was destroyed by both Meckler and Jenny Beth Martin. I'm attaching an article. I personally know the NM coordinator mentioned in the article.
i didn't see a link showing Soros support. even if there is evidence that Soros appears to support it, perhaps it's some form of intentional misdirection. taking power away from DC and giving it to the states is the better system of government. any loopholes in the convention of states that might exist and be cause for Soros support should be resolved
Not and endorsement - Is what is stated on their page:
Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed.
Research what the ratification they propose are:
Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.”
Not defending him, but I’m not sure Hannity supports old nut sack eyes Soros rewriting the constitution, but I know Hannity has been advocating a convention of states for a while now from hearing his radio show from time to time.

Dangerous door to open. Who's trying to open it?

I would posit that there are some sorely-needed changes that should be made.

Levin has pushed this for years. YEARS.
That's why I never trusted him.
Yes. He's one of those inexplicably creepy guys in the same category with Tom Hanks, IMO.
Black eye too..

Larry Lessig, Harvard, 2013' Bilderberger, connects Soros with COS and Wolfpac.

Maybe not. I know all about the 5th amendment, but who's backing this effort financially? Asking for a friend...
