Dunno if anyone has seen this, but 20 years ago Europe was absolutely BLANKETED in that symbol. Every event, every store, everything you can imagine down to ice cream shops all had the same symbol as its logo. Just like that earring. At the time it was puzzling - was it a stylized "6"? No one knew.
Per the FBI and what we’ve commonly seen, the triangle spiral is for boys and heart spiral for girls. This one is circular. Can I see a slight triangular structure in the symbol on that piece of paper? Yes I can. But I mostly just see a swirly. I've seen other swirlies in places that within context are clearly meant to imply that same symbol and it looks a lot more circular than triangular. Its not like they copy/paste their symbol from the FBI sheet...
