You will only see the greyed out aircraft if they are powered up, the info comes from transponders and the like so these aircraft aren't just parked up.
I've just looked and there does seem to be many more aircraft on the ground but powered up, more than normal. What it means tho I have no idea.
Went to Dallas ft. Worth airport and zoomed in. Clicked on 3 of the 7 on the ground and they were US bank trust, Wilmington trust Corp. and umb trust. Kind of odd although I generally watch military and don’t pay attention to civilian air.
Ok, went to Orlando and they had Wells Fargo trust, Umb trustee, bank of Utah trust., us bank trust.
Both airports, all other planes are American Airlines a couple of JetBlue and all planes with transponders on are Airbus.
Same at Reagan international.
Did a bit more research. Buying a plane, a multi million dollar plane, is like buying a car. You can lease or buy outright with a loan, a loan through a bank. A bank controlled by the cabal. We are just a cash cow to them.
It's pretty much 24/7 now, although most passengers fly during the day a lot of freight is still moved during the night. Some aircraft movements may be restricted for noise abatement reasons, there does seem to be many more aircraft on the ground but powered up than normal imo.
I'm with you, whilst I don't know if it's indicative of something going on, there does seem to be more indicated aircraft powered up but on the ground than usual.
I love to watch the planes, but I have no idea what any of it means or what's normal or not. I'm commenting so I can find this post and check back to see if anyone has an explanation for you.
This, I think, is stranger....why all the U.S. balloons, most over 50,000 ft in Nairobi?? https://globe.adsbexchange.com/
Thats.....awful, lol
My guess is "its 12 am and nobody is flying right now and have parked their planes"

Right, I think I should be flying for free!
Its night, I assume there is less flights at night? Don't know to be honest.

They were going to inspect a lot of engines for safety.
