I follow Rebel Capitalist already. Not sure the best way to safeguard my money. I’ve been buying crypto, don’t own a home yet (market is too overpriced and insane right now). Not sure what is going to happen but with Dems in control I have no faith it will be good.

Silver is the canary in the goldmine ... so to speak. ;-)
RoadtorootA may also give you interesting perspectives.
And .... if you pay Dave over at x22 a visit, you get to listen some interesting people on the economy. Take it from here.
I'm investing in refrigerator cardboard boxes... and small shipping containers. People will need somewhere to live after the next market crash.
I'll even include a plastic window in the cardboard box for an extra fee.
LOL the sad thing is I can’t tell if you’re joking or not

Rolling up my pennies. Got $5 so far!!!
Check the dates. 1981 and earlier are copper. :)
I buy gold and silver. Have been since 1986. Not paper but physical gold and silver coins through the US Mint.
you go to a local shop or buy online?
Both. I use Pacific Precious Metals:(https://www.pacificpreciousmetals.com/). I live close to one of their locations but I’ve also purchased online from them. Very reputable organization.
For after the crash, and into the rebuild I recommend lots and lots of physical silver.
For during the near death experience we face its really difficult to say, because there is no way to know how long it will take. If the really hard part (near complete shutdown and chaos) takes a few weeks, just stock up on food/water/blankets/firewood/batteries, etc.. If it takes a few months or even a year? I just have no idea.
The counter to that is, it can't take that long because too many would die. The whole world would die. I don't think we could come back from that (it would be a "genuine death experience").
I don't think people are going to be losing their homes, at least not many. I don't think people are going to lose their savings (at least I hope not). I do think its smart to convert a good portion of any savings into silver though, both for "just in case" and as a solid future investment.
I don't know about crypto (at least not bitcoin). I just don't see another nebulous creation with no tangible backing being our currency going forward, even if its better than our current currency.
But not put everything on it.
Good video if financial collapse or just smart investments in general.

We're good.
Physical silver. Guns and ammo. Food, water, medicine, land, security ( guns and ammo ), community ( I am moving to a rural, Christian area )
We bought physical precious metals - mainly silver. We also have some crypto. Mike Maloney has a great series “Hidden Secrets of Money”, it’s on YouTube. It really opened our eyes as to why we needed physical silver and gold. I sleep better knowing we’ll still have something if the dollar collapses.
