I hope you are right regarding refusing to obey orders, but soldiers are trained to follow orders, and they would be subject to the "American terrorists are trying to take over the country" propaganda, which would mean they wouldn't be shooting fellow Americans, they would be shooting terrorists. And to make matters worse, the service academies have been overrun with leftists, and now are pumping that leftist mindset into the officers. Obama replaced many top officers with leftists, so unless there are enough mid-career officers around to take control, it could be a bad situation.

The question is, who will they get to knock on our doors? CA NY and a few other States will get blue city officials to send their local PD's. Pretty sure Los Angeles and SF will. But the Sheriff Dept. may not participate, nor the CHP. We'll know soon enough. Things are hurtling forward fast.

Try wasp spray. You can use it from a further distance from an intruder and it stings the hell out of their eyes. Comes in a nice can. Safer that gasoline to handle. Better than pepper spray. Don't test it on yourself or loved ones.
Thanks for that tip! I never thought of the wasp spray as a non-lethal home protection device. I had thought of bear spray, but it is a LOT more expensive, and from what I have read, is actually less potent than human mace-type spray, because bears noses are so sensitive to smell, it doesn't take much to cause them to stop dead in their tracks.

I'm in So Cal and I see lines at gun stores when i drive by. Sales are limited to 1 box of ammo per visit. A real problem for new shooters.
