Media reuses pictures for all sorts of stuff...hospital shots, war shots, etc.

They've been caught doing it a lot but Voat is down forever so I can't link you to the thousands of good examples quickly. I'm sure you could find examples on the internet, I know people must have written about this phenomenon.

Wasn't CNN caught re-using footage from a hospital years ago but presenting the footage as COVID chaos?

Yes. It was a hospital in ITALY, but they were saying it was NY!

I think it was NBC who used footage from a shooting range in Kentucky and said it was in Syria
