I too think it's weird and wont use the word if it ever comes up, I thought maybe its so they can track people talking about it more easily too, in any case they effectively memed it because people are saying it.

My red flag was when I started noticing it a few months ago; well into the scam. Living in Canada, it has never been somthing we say.
It's true. We rarely hear the Americn style word "shot" it's always "jab."
Although I've heard "stab" quite a few times recently.
A lot of Youtubers use "the jab" (and other things) because they feel "vaccine" would flag their videos in the algorithim
