Love me some Dr Pepper. Glad that stuff was never taken by Coca-Cola bottling company. Take your Mr Pibb and shove it Coke.
I thought Dr Pepper was a coke product and Mr Pipp a Pepsi product...
Nope. Mr Pibb is Coke.
Dr Pepper is a stand alone company.
Dr Pepper is a brand within the Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG). DPSG is one of the largest producers of soft drinks and premium beverages in the Americas. DPSG's brand portfolio includes Snapple, Dr Pepper, 7UP, A&W Root Beer, Sunkist soda, Canada Dry, Hawaiian Punch, Schweppes, RC Cola, Diet Rite, Slush Puppie frozen drinks, Mott's Apple Juice, Clamato, Mr & Mrs T, Holland House mixers, Rose's, Mistic, Yoo-Hoo, Orangina, IBC, Stewart's, Nantucket Nectars and other well-known consumer brands.
That’s good to know...thanks

It entirely depends on where you live whether or not Coca-Cola distributes Dr. Pepper. There are still many areas where Mr. Pibb is not produced and Coke distributes Dr. Pepper.
So be careful when you buy it outside your local area. Check the label. You may find it is in fact bottled and distributed by the Coca-Cola Company.
Being a distributer is different from owning the product. Dr Pepper made a deal for distribution. It doesn't mean they are owned by Coke, nor adhere to their racist policies.
Bingo.
