You imply the gov cares more than they can't
Your write, that pisses me off two.
Ewe guise quack mee uhp
Cool, but your a dick...lol and now I'm sure its you're turn to quip.
Wow.
Enuf wiht tihs shit fags!
(When the only parts of the sentence that aren't misspelled are slang)
You grammar guys need to get over yourselves, it’s stupid and it’s petty. It definitely does it make you appear intelligent, rather the opposite
I agree this isn't English class. Sometimes I make the mistake between your and you're only because I'm in a hurry or not really paying attention. It's not do to ignorance, I suspect it's like that for others too.
Due... LOL just kidding wink wink, s/
All of these comments are about communicating clearly and effectively. Proper use of words matters when you are trying to communicate ideas that sound different. Instead of giving the lefties material to poke fun at the right. Try to compose responses that at least sound like we've read a book or two in our lives.
Lol I know right ?
Or their there - here, hear, heir - their, there, they're - wood, would....its us English that is the crazy ones. How we ever learned to spell is a mystery.
All I say is I am glad I was brought up in England otherwise I would be screwed, spelling wise haha
I know people get butthurt when you mention spelling errors, etc. but I'm with you on this. It's not about trying to make yourself look more intelligent or even to make fun of anyone else. It's more about trying to avoid the transition to a time where all our communications resemble sloppy tweets. I understand incomplete sentences are acceptable in social media posts, but it does sometimes bother people that grew up following the rules of grammar. Don't take it so personally if you get corrected by someone on here...they only mean well.
Exactly. And the current emphasis on using ghetto slang such as, "it be like that" is meant to dumb down society and normalize those who are in fact less intelligent. All these so called memes that read, "Pelosi be trippin" or similar, should be deleted from the internet.
Imply or infer?
Imply. Wetsock's usage is correct.
People - syntax, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and even spelling directly reflect our thought.
If we aren't thinking more clearly than they are, what's going to happen?
It's not a game.
Grammar fanatics are a dying breed. None left soon.
It's kind of the opposite of "couldn't care less" as they are actively looking and trying to invent new ways to profit off of every else's suffering.
Is that a grammatical error? It's syntactically correct and has a valid meaning, it's just the opposite meaning of what is intended.
