Dr. Ronny Jackson who served three presidents says something is very wrong with Joe https://twitter.com/RonnyJacksonTX/status/1373695627067002882
See you tomorrow.
Could you argue why it is justifiable for someone to gestate a child with a congenital disorder?
I would be worried that they would hold contempt for the child
And to those who think I am pro choice, I am not. I have just seen a lot of people that had to sacrifice their life to look after special needs children. It is expensive and very difficult.
You can make the same argument for anencephaly babies as well.
To me it's a bright line answer. If you make a child, you deal with the consequences. Abortion is murder. To abort a child is the same to me as killing that child after birth because he/she is too much trouble, too expensive, etc.
Sorry, this is your journey. Some of us have tougher challenges than others, but almost all of us have very difficult challenges somewhere in our lives. The answer can never be murder.
Curious where the line is, what do you think?
Plan B is murder, what about condoms, or birth control? Condoms don’t seem like murder but if birth control stops the eggs is that murder? But I guess “wasting” an egg on your period isn’t.
You have a point. Not all who procreate do so from a place of love. And some who do lack wisdom and maturity and, frankly, resources to "deal" with a "normal" baby, much less a "disabled" one. It's certainly a dilemma from an ethics standpoint.
I, and probably a majority here, are of the belief the answer is actually very simple: "God's plan is God's plan and Man's wants and weaknesses are inconsequential."
That said, it's still a thoughtful question, and a very tough one that, without God, is very difficult to answer. Have an updoot.
