I work in South Korea. Everyone here wears masks even when they are outside. I've seen joggers running with masks. It's crazy. You can sit inside a coffee shop without one, but God forbid you get seen outdoors without one. It's the most insane version of group think I've ever seen. My boss' dad was a politician, she knows how they can lie and previously I appreciated her level of critical thinking. But now... I refuse to wear a mask outside. She saw me on the street and asked me to put it on. i refused. I was reamed out for being unscientific and reckless. I didn't budge. Even if I thought masks work, I do not see the benefit of wearing one 24/7.
Just needed to vent a little. I'm leaving Korea soon, so quiting my job atm is not an option. Like I said, just needed to vent.
Wearing a mask is like using a fishing net for a condom.
Copy/paste this article then print it off. Highlight the various bullet points that state unequivocally that masks are not only useless both inside and outside, but that they also are a health hazard. Post a bunch of them in conspicuous places at your work, slip them under the door of your boss and other management employees. Spread the word. This is from the NIH, it should carry a lot of weight since there are no documents anyone has produced that says the opposite.

This article is the best I've read to date about the mask issue. Outstanding references, easy to understand, and touches on all negativity surrounding the mask.
Oh I agree, I've read it, sent it to a bunch of people and have it bookmarked on my phone. There's nothing wrong with the article at all. Consult Matthew 7:6 and you'll understand my previous comment.
A good one. I wasn’t discounting your comment, just adding my appreciation for the solidity of all the research done that’s noted in the article.
Hang in there, you’re never alone.
You don't know koreans very well, do you?
Interesting article! (but I can't figure out how the word "prosper" instead of "proper" made it at least twice in the publication without being corrected by someone :) )
I mean... It still works in both instances. Is it a mistake?
I don't see how "prosper use of a mask" could be intentional, unless they were referring to the fortunes being made by the mask companies :)
its like screen doors on a submarine.
