It has been a challenge throughout the past few years, as I've lived through the trials of the "catholic" church. As I continue to learn, research and read about all things Q, it has been even more eye opening as to the horrible crimes that the "catholic" church continues to drive. In the "catholic" church that we see in Rome, as well as across the world in some bishops, we see the leaders today are so often like the pharisees of Jesus' time, serving their own self interests and using their power and manipulation to control.
When I was a kid in the early '70s, it was "Catholic" with a capital 'C', as in: Catholic stood for the universal Four Marks of the Church - "One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic". I was raised that the Catholic church represented the unbroken chain of Jesus Christ's church that he put in place on earth. This is the Church in which Christ himself proclaimed that "Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jona: because flesh and blood hath not revealed it to thee, but my Father who is in heaven. And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give to thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever thou shalt bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven." (Matthew 16:16-19)
As we come to the end of Lent, I am struck that once again I find myself in love with the traditions of the Church, which help me focus my life on God. Lent, being a time of preparation for the celebration of Easter, is a wonderful tradition to unplug from the world, and focus on God. I have rediscovered in the past 40 days a sense of peace, joy and calm, since I have focused my prayer and time to giving God control in my life. Not trust in man. Man has proven to fail God since the beginning. But trust in God, who sees all things and knows all things. It is God, and God alone who will guide us through this storm.
To be a true Catholic today is very challenging. I attend a traditional latin Mass, as a way to ensure that each Sunday I focus my time and attention on God. This doesn't mean I'm "holier" or "better" - in fact, on my knees, I remember the great line from Chesteron. When asked "What's wrong with the world today?", Chesterton responded, "I am."
I pray with so many here, to the one, true Living God, who sent his only son to save us. I pray that he may rid his true Church of evil, and that we may be given the grace to have the heart of Jesus. I pray for both my enemies and friends, and I pray that we all seek the Truth.
May God Bless you and keep you,
A fellow soldier
The vitriol on any the boards towards catholics is at an all time high.
The educated understand that our church was hijacked by the deep state just like America is.
Dont despair...maybe listen to Fr Rippergers sermons...he is very up to date what is going on in society and even the covid narrative we are being fed.
I cannot speak for everyone, but I have nothing but the utmost respect for Catholics. Although I am not Catholic, I am Christian and our values are similar although our methods of following the ways of Jesus Christ may differ.
It's a very simple, and common practice from where I come from. Respect each other, don't force your faith upon another, and don't allow them to force theirs upon you. We are all on earth, as this is our "proving ground", for what actions we take here, will determine the consequences when we are judged. For how can we be judged, if we had no free will to make those decisions to do good or ill?
I do have reservations over the current Pope - but that is towards the man, not the religion. Man is, and always has been flawed. The message, however remains the same - for our greatest commandments are to Love God, and to love each other.
Thank you for your wonderful support!
There are many Catholics who have reservations over the past several popes. Having watched The Pope in Red, it's clear that there are grave flags that the men serving as pope have been corrupted/manipulated. As always, I remind my self to pray, and pray more. Pray that God's hand continues to guide us.
Thank you for your thoughtful response. We all love Jesus Christ, we are brothers and sisters in Him.
I will remember you in my prayers.
Agree - Fr. Ripperger is very up-to-date. Thank you for your support - I appreciate it!
Go tho Churchmillitant to read about the war going on within the Catholic Church.
The catholic church is not the only one infested with pedos. I worked for a non catholic church and the same pedo shit was going on there too but it's more expedient for the media to focus on the catholics.
I do follow Church Militant. They are working very hard to expose a lot of what is going on inside the catholic church. One thing that tends to strike me is all of the focus on the negative - which, of course, there is a LOT of negative to go around!
It's everywhere. Dens of vipers.
The human element of the Church, hierarchy and priesthood, have certainly become increasingly corrupt over the years, and the degenerate pope says heretical things and promotes the new world order, but these popes and bishops cannot alter the deposit of the faith of the Catholic Church or the validity of the sacraments (although many would like to). Christ founded this Church and he will protect it’s truths although many more may fall away in the coming years.
Only Catholic Church, in my opinion, fully reflects the teaching of the gospels; there is no where else to go for those that understand their faith. Like what are we supposed to do? Are we going to ditch the Catholic Church by ignore 2000 years of history of saints, martyrs and miracles just because this pope may be a pedo? Are we going to ignore and disrespect Christ’s mother and stop receiving the sacraments Christ instituted to nourish us? There is no where else to go. We need to demand change in the hierarchy and saintly religious.
I also go the traditional mass, but there are still many good priests out there in Novus Ordo parishes trying their best in tough situations; we need to find and support them. God will lead us through this and correct things in his time. God Bless and keep the faith!
Couldn't agree more! I travel an hour to go to TLM on Sundays. During the week, I go to a Polish parish that has two Norvus Ordo priests who work VERY hard to serve the true faith and tradition.
Thank you
The Catholics were torturing and killing people who believed the Eucharist wasn't the literal body and blood of Christ, and if they ever regain their Earthly power, they will do the same thing again.
I mean did you not see the serpent eyes? or "accidental" angle where Christ looks like a serpent head? and all the other 8ch stuff about how it's quite satanic?
Like America's Founder literally walked away from the oppressive Church of England so they can practice their faith the proper way. Yet they made it so no religion can be forced on anyone else.
And here you are saying you struggle with a religion in the land of the free. Let's be honest, do you think fake news doesn't exist when it comes to the church?
How much fake news happened in 2000 years? how much of what you believe are like the liberal beliefs? Based on lies & manipulated to someone else's benefit?
It is my belief that Christ is selfless, yet why is his 'followers' for profit? kinda mirrors Q doesn't it?
May God bless you as well as you seek Him with all your heart. I was not raised in the Catholic tradition, but in my youth, I was very drawn to the beauty and traditions exemplified there. I did extensive private study into them at the time, including hand-copying the better part of a catechism I'd borrowed from the library, and I went to Mass from time to time with a friend in high school. It was a truly fascinating study, and I gleaned many encouraging and uplifting perspectives into Church (universal) history and traditions, but I also ran across a number of things that raised an eyebrow for me even at the age of 12 or 13. The old catechism I was copying from laid out and explained many things very biblically, and of course, explained much reasoning behind other Catholic doctrines that are NOT in line with Scripture, but at least I had a better grasp then of the reasoning behind them. It enabled me to discuss the issues more intelligently with my Catholic friends over the years with enough information to respectfully "agree to disagree" where necessary. As I've come to understand more of the roots of the corruption that has infected the church, including but not limited to the Catholic tradition, many of the relevant issues have become much clearer. A very interesting movie our family recently watched about this is the 2003 "Luther", which provides an excellent view of the "deep state/deep church" influences controlling Europe in the the centuries leading up to the Reformation, how Martin Luther perceived and responded to this, and the Awakening that occurred at that time as a result.
We are friends with a family IRL who are working through similar issues as you. They are very devoted Catholics but disgusted with the corruption they see in the modern Catholic church (and much of church history), and they do not see the current pope as legitimate. At this time, there is no church in their area that they feel comfortable attending, so they hold their own family service at home on Sundays. There are a number of doctrinal points about which our two families firmly disagree, yet we both recognize that the other has placed their trust firmly in the Lord Jesus Christ and are seeking to serve Him wholeheartedly. They are among our closest friends, and we have much more in common than not.
Our relationship with God is intended to be exactly that--a relationship--not a list of rituals to "check the boxes", as though that somehow impresses Him. We would find it unsatisfactory for our human relationships to be treated as "to do list" items, and God must certainly feel the same way. However, any number of legitimate traditions and practices (as long as they don't violate Scriptural directives) may be wonderful tools in helping us grow that relationship of closeness with the Lord. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this!
God bless you!
God Bless you as well! Thank you!
Word to the wise: never confess to anything during confession.
So well written. I am also a Catholic. I love our church. It has been infiltrated. I had no idea how badly infiltrated until recently. We do need to focus on God and not let the sins and distractions of men keep us from honoring our God. I also especially love Divine Mercy Sunday (the first Sunday after Easter) & the Novena (starting Good Friday).
Matthew 15:9
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
I can't understand why people keep making excuses. It's beyond me.
Jesus’ vision is that we will be one with each other and one with God.

I was born into the Catholic Faith, baptized and confirmed. I no longer go to mass or affiliate with the Roman Catholic organization for a number of reasons. But I still have my faith and maintain my relationship with God and Jesus Christ.
WE are God’s church, not an organization of hierarchy, rules, and rituals developed by man
in 2 thousand years the Catholic church has had ups and downs. Many of the religious orders that are corrupt now were initially started to counter the corrupt orders that were in existence then. new orders of nuns and priests are starting quietly to be formed and will replace the old bad orders. Only the Benedictines have survived all the ups and downs.
Well it's easier to just be a believer and leave the man made stuff at the door.
I understand and can relate to what you are saying. I am also a Catholic who carries her rosary (Blessed by Pope Paul VI. When I was little, Sister Xavior gave my mom a handful blessed by him because she said we would need them!) I always questioned everything, especially being taught you must follow the 10 Commandments, never cuss, never have a bad thought, etc, and in the same sentence, we were taught, on your death bed, as long as you ask God for forgiveness and mean it, you will be forgiven and you will be allowed into heaven. I would ask, every time this was said, "then why do we have to be good and follow the rules and not have fun if we tell him we were sorry when we saw him because he would forgive us. Questions like that always got me in trouble, but I always asked the questions.
I believe God. I believe men are weak and get corrupted. Hard to listen to someone spout you must repent for your sins all the while they are sinning themselves!
I was fortunate that we had a few really good nuns that taught us well. May peace be with you and your family.
Remember in the 60's when this all started the order of Pius the X was formed and still exists and still has the old Tridentine Latin mass.
Well said
Amen, my brother/sister in Christ.
