The current situation is both.
100%
Yeah, somehow they are both right at the same time...
I was jist thinking the same thing. Feels like both can be simultaneously true.
I would argue that Huxley was right all the way up until Orwell was.
yeah i agree the go hand in hand. i do repost this once in a while because i find it to be so important.
It's hugely important, thank you for posting.
thank you for being awesome.
Both is real. Huxley was right when we look at today, Orwell’s future is the one we reach after stage one.
We won’t reach stage two, the plan is in progress. NCSWIC
We’re in the endgame, it just takes time. The enemy tries with playing absurd moves in this chessgame to postpone the inevitable: they’ve lost. They’re confused and they are desperate.
Checkmate is coming. Trust the plan.

Huxley observed the tool chest, Orwell described the finished product.
Sadly both Orwell and Huxley were correct
Well put. Both are true in my opinion. Depends on what part of the world you live? I can imagine the puppet masters coming together and waging a bet on who’s approach to total submission and domination will achieve the best result.
I believe we will crush them.
I've only read Brave New World, back in 2012, and even back then I could see the beginnings of what Huxley was warning us about. But now, in 2021, it's completely clear that his words are true. I sometimes wonder if both Huxley and Orwell were prophets or were given words and visions of the future by God to warn us about what's coming. We can only speculate, but I believe it to be somewhat true.
they both new each other, they were part of the elite circle. Just like how carrol quigley who wrote tragedy and hope was the person records the minutes for the CFR. they are so accurate because they were there.
Orwells real name is eric arthur blair i believe that huxley was his teacher.

Lets also not forget about the likes of orson wells, and edward bernays.
Wow, good one, thanks. I
Thank you Fren!
After these two books i read "gulag archipelago" solchenitzn (it is soul crushing) then it was "we the living" ayn rand and what we are seeing today is exactly what is described in those historical books.
Orwells best one is Homage To Catalonia imo.
He talks about the Spanish civil war where he fought fascism and saw the reality of communism, not pleasant at all.
The left was doing very well fighting Franco's troops, but then the communists got involved and started murdering their allies, the anarchists and socialists, the ones doing the actual fighting.
They killed all who they said were not left wing enough, the worst ones to accuse others of crimes against the workers were the communist women.
Huxley should not have taken mescaline, it was the end for him as a novelist.
This is interesting. Can you expand on the not taking mescaline part?
Thank you for sharing this!
Did anyone else think of Buddhism at the end where the ideas of what we love and hate could destroy us where illustrated?
no but it is a good point!
