I said last year he won't last much longer. Not because of any conspiracies but simply because the guy was 99 years old. He was the Queen's husband so obviously it will get world attention. I also predict Charles will abdicate the throne when the Queen dies as you can already see Will & Kate being groomed to take over the role.
I also wonder if the new Royal scandal, the Harry & Meghan thing, is to distract from Uncle Randy Andy, especially with more info coming from the Maxwell trial.

Charles is heavily involved in various businesses and interests around the globe and may be content to do that in the background.
Maybe he’ll take the crown for a term like 4 or 5 years and then abdicate for the good PR having William be the figurehead while he works behind the scenes.
