This is my home country too, and just like all the reported numbers around C19, I believe it's bullshit.
If anything, it's likely to have been the number of appointments offered, even if they were turned down. In the same way they fiddle A&E waiting time figures by counting you seeing the triage nurse within 20 minutes or so, never mind that you then wait hours to see an actual doctor. The first part of the process counts as a target been 'achieved'. Having been a public sector worker for 25 years, I've got a fairly good grasp of how statistics are gathered and manipulated.
Lord, I hope they are fudging the numbers and not locals willingly vaccinating, I truly do.
I wouldn't bet on it, the UK is 90+% fucked in the head.

Me too. My friend had it so she could see her grandson, hope nothing bad happens to her. And my sister-i-l. Hope to God my daughter and her husband have not.
The medics I know are all very tight lipped about what is really going on: the threats of dismissal and gag orders are working. Judging by the vehemence of the vax campaigns, it seems there are more refuseniks then they are letting on.
My family are in WA, praying they will have the sense to abstain. Worrying.
