I haven’t seen a video yet. I’m very skeptical of any news station reporting anything Trump “said” in that speech.
Absolutely. Still, I hope Trump puts some out himself. Although my gut instinct is leaning towards this being an, overall, insignificant event in the grand scheme of what Trump is up to / planning. Especially considering this is an RNC event... And we all know how Trump feels about the RNC right now.
Actually, I wonder if he did this half-heartedly, just as a favor for Sarah.
I posted in the original annoucements thread for this that The Des Moines Register newspaper stated (paraphrase) that the event was closed to the media.
That said, it looks like someone found a snippet here, and maybe more will surface.
Unfortunately, it's my belief there won't be any official video drops, unless Trump himself puts them up via his official channels, which he may.
Again, this is all just IMO. I would love to be proven wrong!
Edit: wrote this before I had a chance to view the snipper u/tenthousandpoons linked. Not much changed, but I did see another snippet posted in these forums from a different angle and slightly earlier. So it appears recordings by attendees were no discouraged. Hopefully more surface. WWG1WGA.
I looked everywhere for about 20 minutes and couldn't find anything besides talking heads on lib networks having a 'panel discussion' about all the "terrible things" that Trump supposedly said during that speech, but - of course - they didn't have a single second of actual video footage to verify anything they claimed Trump said. LOL!
