But that isn't check, let alone check.mate.

I considered that... and it fits that the black hats (white pieces) moved first..... but that makes it the white pieces (black hats) move.

Don't mean to get too literal, but Trump has been having meetings with prominent people at Mar a Lago. Has been wedding-crashing ceremonies and photo sessions, and has been publishing photos of 'current' events from the place. Has Trump already gone overseas for his duties? (someone had to discuss things with the foreign governments - clearly it's not Biden. And his cabinet members have done exactly NOTHING since Jan 20th. Blinken AG has been flying around a bit but that's about all I've heard about. ) Someone, somewhere is directing the military on what do with all of these rattling sabers going on in So Ch Sea, dealing with Putin, Rocketman, etc.

Here is my analysis of this post:
Pompeo, a White Hat, is playing black on the board. This is symbolic of the White Hats being in control of the Black Hats. Every move we see the Black Hats make from this point forward will be a move that the White Hats orchestrated for us to see.
Others have noticed that no check, or checkmate is possible with the current configuration of pieces on the board. This is inconsequential due to the above analysis.

I sure hope you are right because to me, it looks like the military are playing We the People to remain peaceful long enough to take our guns away so we cannot fight back. That's really what I see. :(
From the photo it looked to me like the black knight had the white king in checkmate. Apparently it wasn't, since you do have the correct setup it seems in the upper right. I do not see ANY impending checkmate in this game??
