As a never-masker, I was in line at the grocery store yesterday when a Karen asked me if I knew what a "mandate" means? I said "sure, that's when Barry and Michael go out for a night on the town". Although Karen didn't get it, the masked cashier nearly lost it with laughter... made my day.
My husband and I are moving to a little town up North in Ontario where the population is only 2800 people. They have had zero people with covid but are still on the same lock down.
As I understand it, a small town in North western Ontario (called Emo) tried to open up a few days before the end of the "second wave/lockdown". Very few cases up there, many businesses struggling. Ford called the mayor of Emo personally the next day, told the mayor that if he defies the Ontario orders that they will be denied provincial and federal funding of any kind.

This. If he thinks he can try to force illegal and rights crushing actions, we will crush him. They knew that the curfew wouldn't work. Police in several areas have indicated they will not use the illegal powers given to them by herr Ford.
I'm trying to do that! The farthest i get is walking through the store without it. And putting in on at the counter. Heck. I even held door for what looked like to me a typical Karen without a mask and she actually only said thank you and nothing more! I'm in anon. Im in Ontario and am gonna try
I realize just now. That many stores i go in. The attendant doesn't have their mask on until I approach. I wonder if those stores will leave their mask off if I leave mine too! Ppl are itching for excuses to get rid of the face diapers
I haven’t put a mask on my face since the beginning, I’ve racked up over $2000 in fines..... that I will never pay.

I did it accidentally in a store simply because I forgot it and never remembered until I was out in the car. No one said anything.
