This. Lin's body language was strong. He got in his face/personal area eyes wide open, staring down into Drew's face. He never blinked excessively. His posture remained the same the entire time.
Drew immediately started squinting when Lin mentioned Lindsey. That is a clear sign of anger an distress. When he started defending himself, his eyes remained squinting and blinking rapidly, which is a sign of a person lying. At one point, when he mentioned "Chinese pornography", his head was looking up while squinting, which is him thinking. IE: pulling something out of his ass.
While the video makes it seem Lin backed off initially, it was the person pushing Drew back and the camera shifting. Toward the end Drew's posture started drooping down and his head was low, indicating an extreme defensive posture. This is an indication of guilt.
What we saw was a man completely on the defensive, pulling lies out, and showing an extremely defensive posture. This Drew is definitely scum.
My favorite 'tell' was his vocal inflections toward the end of the clip. Whenever you hear the inflection/tenor raise up like that, the 'subject' is projecting and/or lying their ass off. True 100% of the time.
It's how I know when my kids are full of shit.
That fucker was TRULY scared by what Lin was saying.
Very good body language reading from everyone here. Funny. I never knew with my kids but after a few seconds of staring at them and not wavering, they confessed. lol. They would always say, 'how did you know?' I'd say, a parent knows, meanwhile I really wasn't sure. But the stare down works.
That's exactly right. Someone who is innocent would have immediate disbelief and outrage. AND the perfect opportunity to share information as to why he's not guilty on video.
This is excellent. For people trying to understand how people are reacting when questioned, this is a good start.
Please keep in mind that these bodily movements can be faked and to a certain degree controlled. The best actors on the planet are masters of managing and controlling these unconscious body movements... and so are the best politicians. It should be everybody's homework to learn the basics of all these involuntary movements.
Surprisingly, the two best examples of people controlling body movement come from the Dark Knight and Joker films. Also watch Obama do speeches. He is a master of controlling his body language to project confidence in the things he says. Here is are a few examples:
I know where youre coming from with the wife. Fortunately for me I have a very patient and supporting wife who is very good at talking me down without making me feel like an idiot.

Awesome
Yea, I couldn't always read the tells -- but my son thought I could!
If McKinsey was innocent t he should have layed Lin wood straight out for lying and defaming him. He isnt innocent.

He's guilty.
To top it off, at the end, he was physically retreating away... while verbally saying “bring it on.”
And was only able to repeat what was being said to him.
He was shocked and scared, while trying to project the exact opposite.
Or more. Just saying. :P
To be honest, its is a very good skill to have.

That’s brilliant. Just one more thing to make my wife think I’m crazy.....which I’m totally doing.
I know where youre coming from with the wife. Fortunately for me I have a very patient and supporting wife who is very good at talking me down without making me feel like an idiot.
I dunno why but your comment really cracked me up. Probably because it’s so relatable! ??
Baseline is the biggest part of this. Without it. All is useless.
At least in this case, Drew followed everything to the letter.
In addition, tone of voice. His pitch went up. He sounded stressed.
