Exactly. People are far too focused on POTUS. I think the local elections are actually a bigger deal over all. Here in Gwinnette County GA in 2020 a red county just mysteriously flipped blue. Top to bottom all the county positions all suddenly went blue. For a very long time we've been the one red holdout near metro Atlanta. In a mid term I might have believed it but with Trump on the ticket I just don't think its real. I think they decide it was time for it to go blue finally and made it happen purely because the media made it seem believable with gas-lighting. I'd LOVE to see an audit of Fulton, Dekalb, and Gwinnette. I bet the results would be hilarious, and yet a little terrifying because of how deep the corruption is.
Its the same in my County and district. All red in a sea of blue between Detroit and Lansing, Flint and Ann Arbor. Suddenly we have a CIA alum, full on commie rep who is hugely unpopular but then won her reelection. Couldnt happen without cheating.
Are you REALLY the only holdout near Atlanta or is it that your county was the last one they finally hacked? Tell me, do you see more Trump or Biden signs in the other counties?
I'm in a weird spot because the Dekalb county line is only 100 yards from my house. My neighborhood for sure leans a little blue. All the older white people are moving out or dead. Gwinnett did something none of the other counties did. They didn't allow MARTA to build rail lines and bus routes out into the county. Thus it kept the huddled masses at bay. Every other election they put a referendum of some sort trying to get mass transit and every year the voters reject it because Gwinnett really is the last sort of red place near Atlanta and they know EXACTLY what mass transit brings... crime.
There are a lot of new people moving in etc so it has been backsliding to purple for a while but this last vote was a dramatic crazy shift in votes and power. More importantly its not like they put up the typical lying candidates that at least say they are "moderates". No one but hard core leftists voted for this batch of lunatics and there aren't THAT many of those yet. There is zero doubt in my mind someone tweaked the results just enough to allow them to squeak by wins and give Biden a few extra votes as well.
We moved into this house when I was 3 years old in 1973. I'm 50. I know this area well. One or two random flips sure. The right candidate might have fooled enough people or maybe people hated the GOP guy blah blah whatever. But every single thing flipping all at once? Nah. Statistically improbable. Do an audit and we would see. I'm not saying its an absolute but its well worth doing an audit. I'm talking the real deal like AZ not these pansy ass recounts.
Owe and as far as the last one they finally hacked thing... that's EASY to explain. The GA governors office(Kemp) two years ago right after 2018 made a huge contract to buy every single county brand new Dominion machines. His buddy/adviser used to work for Dominion. He used to be the GA Sec State. So Gwinnett had the rigged machines given to them. They didn't have a say in it.
Its a funny coincidence that the very first year we use these new machines the whole county flips blue isn't it. Including the county going for Biden. Hmmmm...
Its possible I'm just living in a bubble and don't realize how bad things really are. However, its far more likely that its both. They really only had 45-50% and it was going to be a squeaker across the board but these new machines created a 10 point flip by switching 5% of the vote and thus they ran the table.
Either way we are moving South. Because we're so close to Atlanta things are finally falling apart here. With the county government going blue it will only get worse.
After the first audit, they will mock. Audits will spread across the country despite the mockery. The second audit with similar results will probably be critical mass, if not then the third definitely will. If we get 3 audits done with similar results, the floodgates will open.
Also, we should remember that all 3 movies will play at the same time!
