Gen X got Book-It pizzas too. But bullying was still a thing, and nobody wants to get picked on for being a fat ass, which happens in a world without safe spaces.
I look svelte compared to many Millennials I've seen, and I'm 30 lbs. over my high school weight as a Gen X'er. Going outside to play every day as a kid makes a huge difference.
I think that's the bigger driver of health issues. Everyone thinks it's okay to be a complete fatass these days, and the human body wasnt meant to exist like that
I think it's not just that, but that a majority of them are overweight, weak, mentally ill, etc. It's not just chemicals, it's the things they eat, and how little they exercise, and how mentally ill these people are, the drugs they're on. It's just a whole bunch of things. This is why I make sure to exercise almost every day. I don't want to end up like them.
It's a whole system. Most video games, communications tech and media makes you mentally ill. Video games implant stimuli response. Movies and media give you state approved talking points for social interactions and enforces caste separation. Communications technology increases trivial or adverse social interactions as well as surveils you.
Aspartame and sweeteners have all kinds of adverse affects. I'm going to have joint and bone problems by the time I'm 45 most likely. I've drank so much diet soda. It's kind of addictive too. Once you have things like pop nothing ever tastes quite as good. I was in ok health until I could drink beer and get fried chicken at the pub. It's interesting that they talk up unhealthy things and by the time you're old enough you want it because you've heard everyone talk about it.
Your desire to feel good and be accepted by peers has been exploited. Your instincts have been pimped out by crony capitalism. I was lucky. I got wise and stopped in living like that. I'll probably make it to retirement in ok condition save the bone problems. Others will bot be so lucky.
Sucralose and aspartame have been shown to lead to cancer, that stuff will rot your body. When in doubt stick to real cane sugar, or even better, honey made by God's little busy workers.
But really, stay away from all soda, diet or not, even 1 a day is bad for you, and some people drink 10 a day. At most limit yourself to 1 a week, and even then I'd say that's too much. At most I usually only have like 1-2 a month, and it's only really good quality soda that's made local with real cane sugar and comes in cool glass bottles, awesome stuff, but it's a treat, not a staple.
But if you need a sugar fix to drink, stick to fruit juices "watered down" with coconut milk or coconut water. I recommend "Naked" fruit juices, absolutely jam packed with vitamins and nutrients, but they're kind of thick juices so I water them down with coconut milk, which is also very healthy.
I would like to know this as well. I quit soda for most of last year by drinking Bubly soda water and Food Lion brand Cranberry Lime soda. I'm always looking for the next best carbonated water alternative but not all are as natural.
Eat celery and other vegetables high in calcium (leafy greens are some of the biggest sources) and avoid dairy as much as possible and you'll be less likely to develop problems with your bones as you age.
For the truth behind chronic illness and how to heal. This guy gets his information directly from the spirit of compassion and has been helping people heal since he was 4 years old.
DDT - Polio, Tobacco - Cancer, Asbestos - Lung Cancer, Vaccine - Genocide. They can't kill us fast enough, the NWO is behind on their agenda. Not only that, there was/is a profit equation in our killing, missed profits.
..it's deeper than this. Just one example in an inexhaustible list.... A woman pregnant with a girl is carrying the eggs in her womb to make her grandchildren. Think about that for a bit.. Genetic weakness is real, and so is generational trauma. Whatever soon-to-be-mom experiences before and during her pregnancy through dietary, emotional/mental/physical trauma, and environmental changes and toxins also carries those forward directly two generations, then indirectly in future generations.. And of course then whatever daughter does or experiences before/during her future pregnancy will compound upon grandma's and grandkid is then getting hammered way before ever having a fair shot at Life - and the cycle continues.. Of course this isn't even including the dear old dads and whatever fucked up, damaged genetics they're contributing.
And if no one has noticed... Our environment is fucked. And I'm not talking about climate change by carbon footprint - that can be offset by trees and other greenery. I'm talking about the water, soil, and air. All very heavily contaminated..
Most of the products the average American uses on a day to day basis are manufactured with chemicals that are detrimental to our health. Both physical and mental
Many Modern plastics for instance have been linked to cancer, sterility, and other conditions.
And if I named the conditions caused directly or indirectly by even a quarter of the stuff we routinely put in our food. We’d be here all week.
Hell. Some soaps and Shampoo are technically classified as detergent. Not soap.
Most of it isn’t even necessary to actually manufacture the products they’re used in. In just makes manufacturing them cheaper. And makes the products more addictive in the case of food.
Most of the ill health effects are known to the companies. They don’t care though. It saves them money and people keep buying. All we are to major companies is Revenue.
Our reward for reading a book was pizza ?. What did they think was gonna happen.

Take your safe space elsewhere.
Kids need to learn about how some people are shitty, how to deal with them, how to cope with things, how to persevere.

The people who get into hard drugs are flat out fucked.

Carbonated mineral water with whole fresh juice flavorings is pretty amazing. I was able to quit drinking soda all together doing that.
Could you point to a particular brand for that type of thing or is that a concoction you make? Trying to quit myself.

That's a cool combo. Props to you pede for chucking soda.

Here's a list of vegetables here-

I’ve read his books and I don’t know about “the spirit”, but there’s a lot of good scientific data behind the foods he picks.
I think “the spirit” in this case might just be a lazy way of explaining to his readers.
For example, many of the foods he recommends are alkalizing, which creates an environment that likely suppresses bacterial growth.
