I actually said that this afternoon to some guy giving me shit about not wearing a mask while I was outside pumping gas. He literally ran inside the gas station without saying another word. I’m in Florida where masks aren’t required. Very out of character for me to even acknowledge these mask Nazis. It did feel damned good to finally say it out loud though.

I'm still waiting for some KAREN in SCRUBS (seen too many) at the gas pump or in the grocery store to approach me and get in my fecal matter over not wearing a 'face diaper'.
Supposed "medical professional" - wearing their scrubs at work, and then going out into the world spreading whatever germs, bacteria and viruses they have accumulated on said scrubs - are going to get a VERY loud dressing down on their contaminating the world!
Kek.
Reminds me of the joke "How do you know someone is a nurse?" "Oh they'll TELL you".
I hate seeing those dopey "heroes work here" signs plastered all over schools and hospitals.
Heroes put their lives on the line to protect this country, not spend all day making TicTok dance videos.
"Buh-buh-buh...THE RONA!" - TikTok dancing "nurses"
I don't know if I will ever regain respect for teachers/professors/nurses/doctors. They all bought into something that eroded and diminished our country and caused death.
This! Exactly this! I've told my wife, who has several family members in the medical profession, that the sheer amount of loathing I feel for their profession as a whole will make our next family reunion a bitter affair.
As a retired educator, I can attest that not all teachers drink the same Kool-Aid. It sickens me as well to see what has happened to our schools and the teachers (not all) who work in them. Were my children of school age and knowing what I know now, I would have definitely home-schooled them. Sad truth is, many teachers are based but they have to hide it while at work. Case in point, a young teacher I know reached out to me asking for advice on how to go to work each day pretending to be happy that xiden is in office. My point is, there is a silent collective of educators who hate what is happening but feel helpless to do anything about it.
Hero is just another word they've ruined. Maybe we should give each and every one of them a Nobel Prize while we're at it.
Very true. Hero = someone who shows up to work to help people who push drugs that do nothing, and who do TikTok videos when they're bored.
Meanwhile, what the hell is going on with all the patients? We've heard what's going on from whistleblower nurses: they're being ignored.
Theyre no more heroic than the sanitation engineer.
Yep, I immediately think "retards work here" when I see those signs.
Very well said!
Can we swop? I've had my fill of confrontations over the last two weeks.
